ॐ Woher ich komme

America Baby! I'm an East Coaster having been born and raised in New Jersey, not far from NYC which is still one of my most favourite places in the world. Funnily enough, I'm actually half german with my father and siblings  coming from Hanau, so Germany has always felt like home to me too.

ॐ Was ich praktiziere

I practice Yoga. I say that because Yoga is a science that centers around a way of living, so what elements I dig into more heavily, really has to do with what I need in the moment. The path of Bhakti Yoga ( Krishna Bhakti ) is my foundation, and when I practice asana, I fully enjoy a functional Ashtanga Vinyasa class.

ॐ Was ich lehre

Haha! I this a trick question? Just kidding, but my answer is the same: Yoga. My asana style is quite intuitive having trained in traditional Ashtanga, all the way to therapeutics for my medical patients. As we are always evolving, our practice should adjust to meet that, but the core and heart should stay the same. Students love my classes because it's never the same, it's familiar but outside of the box to playfully challenge and shift perspective, and it always seems to be just what you need that day... lol, but not always what you want.
Within all of that, the core, I teach people healing and whole-istic health by way of radical self-awareness and acceptance so that they can build true knowledge and clarity, empowering them to live the highest version of self. I love that I've been able to reach people with these practices from all different backgrounds like major CEO's, new moms, trauma victims, celebrities, athletes, non-yoga people, corporate people, and so many more. That's the amazing thing about this practice, it can fit everyone, it's all about how it's delivered.

ॐ Was mich antreibt

The call I have always had to help ease suffering. As someone who has always been immersed in western and eastern medicine since I was a child, it has always been apparent to me that all issues and illnesses we experience are a form of suffering and understanding and embracing the root is the key to freedom and becoming the best version of you. The flip side of wanting to help countless people release their suffering, is the desire for people to find their true and lasting happiness. That has always fuelled me and always been something I have not been willing to compromise of give up on.

ॐ Was ich gerade lese

I'm reading several books at once. I just finished The Joy of Genius by Gay Hendricks.

Sacred Sound and Sangha: Kirtan and Stories of the Divine

Bhakti Yoga is often called Devotional Yoga, but in earnest, it is Relational Yoga.

The relationship in Bhakti yoga is what unlocks the heart of true bliss and moksha. In this practice, it is the soul that get deep nourishment with sacred sounds of kirtan and listening to the enchanting stories of Radha and Krishna.

It is a practice that is meant to be felt, so all are welcome to join in, even if you have no idea what it's all about.

Who is ready to feel infinite happiness?!
